Some Numismatic Delicacies from my Collection

These are some of the rare coins from my collection. Some I won at the Dr. Nitka auction held in Baltimore, some are from the McCammon Auction held in London, and the others were acquired from Spink or via a private treaty.

The provenance or history of ownership of a particular coin is of special importance to many collectors. It not only establishes the origins of the piece, but also demonstrates the care and attention accorded to an exceptional item by its previous owners. It confirms the importance and desirability of the specimen to the great numismatists in whose collections it resided.

Unitl 2018, I had never seen a nicer example of this token, the most sought after item in the Jersey token series.
Then along came the following item.

Although this token is graded as AU 55 BN, I find that overly optimistic.
It has a little more detail than the previous token.
