DECIMAL CURRENCY (CALLING IN OF TEN PENCE COINS) (JERSEY) ORDER 1992

____________

THE FINANCE AND ECONOMICS COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Article 4A of the Decimal Currency (Jersey) Law 1971,1 as amended (hereinafter referred to as “the 1971 Law”), hereby orders as follows –

1.             Coins of the denomination of ten pence issued prior to the coming into force of this Order pursuant to –

(a)     Article 2 of the Decimal Currency (Jersey) Law 1969;2 and

(b)     Article 3 of the 1971 Law,3 shall be called in by the thirtieth day of June 1993.

2.             This Order may be cited as the Decimal Currency (Calling in of Ten Pence Coins) (Jersey) Order 1992 and shall come into force forthwith.
