CURRENCY NOTES (VARIATION OF MAXIMUM DENOMINATION) (JERSEY) REGULATIONS, 1988.

THE STATES, in pursuance of paragraph (2) of Article 1 of the Currency Notes (Jersey) Law, 1959, as amended1 (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”), have made the following Regulations –

1.             In paragraph (1) of Article 1 of the Law1 for the words “twenty pounds” there shall be substituted the words “fifty pounds”.

2.             These Regulations may be cited as the Currency Notes (Variation of Maximum Denomination) (Jersey) Regulations, 1988 and shall come into force forthwith on promulgation.
