Part 16: Fractions

On the early copper issues, you will notice that the denomination is represented by a fraction, i.e., 1/13, 1/26, or 1/52.  If die filling or a signicant die crack is present, a coin's denomination could appear to take on another value.  Take a look at the following fractions.
