Die Varieties of the 1947 Penny

For the 1947 penny there are three die varieties consisting of a single obverse die paired with three reverse dies. The difference is in the spacing of the date.

Obverse	Reverse

Obverse 1:
- There is only one die.

Reverse A:
- The spacing between the four and the seven in the date is 0.70 mm.
Reverse B:
- The spacing between the four and the seven in the date is 0.59 mm.
Reverse C:
- The seven with repect to the four is a higher position than the previous types.

	The spacing is measured between the four and the seven.
