Die Varieties of the 1913 Penny

For the 1913 penny there are two die varieties consisting of an obverse die paired with two reverse dies. The difference is the placement of the date.

Obverse	Reverse

Obverse 1:
- There is only one die.

Reverse A:
- The spacing between the one and the three in the date is 0.98 mm.
- The 13 is in alignment with N.
Reverse B:
- The spacing between the one and the three in the date is 0.93 mm.
- The 13 is out of alignment with N.

	The spacing is measured between the one and the three.
