For the 1937 penny there are two die varieties consisting of an obverse die paired with two reverse dies.

  • Obverse 1:
    • There is only one die.
  • Reverse A:
    • The spacing between the three and the seven in the date is 0.58 mm. 
  • Reverse B:
    • The spacing between the three and the seven in the date is 0.37 mm.
